Toddling Turtles

Toddling Turtles is a "Parent & Child Class" designed as the entry level class for children ages 18 months to young 3 years old. Our curriculum helps children develop confidence and important basic skills.

These young athletes work on developing better listening skills and improving eye-hand and eye-foot coordination.  They also work on associating counting, rhythmics, color and shape recognition with movement - all in an environment that is safe, fun and challenging.

Crawling Caterpillars

The Crawling Caterpillars is our newest addition to the Jungle Gym Program.  Designed with young athletes (18 months to 2 years) who have never been in group atmospheres.  These "Parent & Child Classes" focus on staying with the group, following a pattern, and taking instruction from someone other than mom or dad.  Children will explore the equipment in a safe environment while learning to interact with others.  Classes run 30 minutes long and meet once a week.

Bouncing Bears

Bouncing Bears classes are designed as entry level classes for children between 3 and 6 years old (not yet in first grade).  These classes provide children with a solid foundation for all sports.  Competition is not a part of this Program or Level.

During classes our "Bears" work on improving eye-hand and eye-foot coordination, color and shape recognition, counting, rhythmics, throwing & catching, striking & kicking, teamwork and sharing - all cleverly disguised as play in a gymnastics environment.

As with other members of our Jungle Gym family of "critters," the Bears use our "in ground" Trampolines and Tumble Tracks, our age and size appropriate gymnastics equipment and a variety of unique training aids to develop their skills.

Parents can monitor the progress of their "Bears" with our skills chart system.  Charts in the waiting areas list each athlete and all of the skills, actions, terminology, strength and flexibility their Bears must master in order to advance to the next level of skill - The Tumbling Tigers.

We typically offer Bears classes mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Jumping Jaguars

Jumping Jaguars classes are designed as entry level classes for children between 5 and 6 years old (not yet in first grade).  These classes provide children with a solid foundation for all sports.  Competition is not a part of this Program or Level.

During classes our "Jaguars" work on improving eye-hand and eye-foot coordination, color and shape recognition, counting, rhythmics, throwing & catching, striking & kicking, teamwork and sharing - all cleverly disguised as play in a gymnastics environment.

As with other members of our Jungle Gym family of "critters," the Jaguars use our "in ground" Trampolines and Tumble Tracks, our age and size appropriate gymnastics equipment and a variety of unique training aids to develop their skills.

Parents can monitor the progress of their "Jaguars" with our skills chart system.  Charts in the waiting areas list each athlete and all of the skills, actions, terminology, strength and flexibility their Jaguars must master in order to advance to the next level of skill - The Tumbling Tigers.

We typically offer Jaguars classes in the afternoons and evenings.

Tumbling Tigers

Tumbling Tigers classes are designed as more advanced level classes for children between 3 and 6 years old (not yet in first grade).  These classes require extensive prior movement experience. Competition is not a part of this Program or Level.

During classes our "Tigers" are challenged with more complex and refined movements, as well as complicated sequences and skills which require good basics and above average levels of strength and flexibility. Skill development becomes more technical at this level.  An easily seen example is that athletes at this level are not only refining their cartwheels, they are beginning to test themselves on the low Balance Beams with this skill.

As with other members of our Jungle Gym family of "critters", the Tigers use our "in ground" Trampolines and Tumble Tracks, our age and size appropriate gymnastics equipment and a variety of unique training aids to develop their skills.

Parents can monitor the progress of their "Tigers" with our skills chart system.  Charts in the waiting areas list each athlete and all of the skills, actions, terminology, strength and flexibility their Tigers must master in order to advance to the next level of skill - The Leaping Lions!

We typically offer Tigers classes mornings, afternoons and evenings.

Leaping Lions

Leaping Lions classes are the most advanced level of class offered in our Jungle Gym Program. Children in these classes are challenged with developing skills, combinations and sequences which require extremely high levels of focus, basics, strength, flexibility, motivation and courage.  This level of skill is not always obtainable for all children within the designed ages of 4 to 6 (not yet in first grade). Competition is not a part of this Program or Level.

As with other members of our Jungle Gym family of "critters," the Lions use our "in ground" Trampolines and Tumble Tracks, our age and size appropriate gymnastics equipment and a variety of unique training aids to develop their skills. Lions, due to their advanced abilities, will also venture out of the Jungle and into the other areas of the gym to test themselves on other apparatus and training stations typically available only to older children.

Parents can monitor the progress of their "Lions" with our skills chart system.  Charts in the waiting areas list each athlete and all of the skills, actions, terminology, strength and flexibility their Lions are working on mastering.

We typically offer Lions classes several times during the week.
